Hola, Been a minute since Ive gotten around to update but Ive been up to some cool stuff so here goes...

Here's Paula's sacred chihuahua all finished up and Gaston's Love for Austin, but like he said "I love Austin, but fuck Texas" ha ha. I think I can somewhat agree with that. Anyway, Austin is the bat city and Gaston wanted an 'I heart NY' type design so this worked out great.

Stef flew out from Chicago and I tattooed her 2 days in a row. Let me tell you this girl is one tough girl, didnt even complain ONCE! These are 2 of my favorite tattoos ever. It's been a little while since I've been able to get back on this thing to update, but here I am and I've got a whole buncha pictures! Its been super crazy for me at the shop lately, between the carnivale, drawing new tattoos, painting, a preggo wife, being an ultimate ninja master and the shop being super busy I bring you an update on some tattooing, but afterwards......I GOTTA GO!

I tattooed Jesse & Becca's cat Mr. Bojangles (not really his name) on the back of Becca's leg. Always nerve wrecking when youre tattooing a coworker's spouse, eesh! Also, got to do a really fun Joy Division inspired tattoo on my good friend Alisha.

Here's two new tattoos I did on Hank. Hank is a trooper, he's come in pretty often and gotten tattooed but ALWAYS comes in with some really cool ideas.

Next, I tattooed my good friend Lucas. Lucas is one of the funniest fuckers I know, he works at Yellow Jacket Social Club and comes in with the rest of the guys to get tattooed all the time on their days off. Its always a riot when these guys come in and get tattooed, just dont ask him to push the little red button in the shop. Lucas will get anything tattooed, hence a pyramid with a weed leaf. Also, had a little time and did a fun sugar skull on a walk in.

Athena came in and got her Native American girl outlined and shaded, cant wait to get the color done. And last but not least Corrine got her hot air balloon girlhead finished up, healed pictures soon.

Next post I PROMISE I will have some new prints new shirts and as always new tattoos, for now here's a picture of me tattooing you can print out really big and pin up on your wall between your Justin Bieber and Twilight posters.

HIGGS ACTION

Things have been winding down for me at the shop. After my hectic initial return from foggy San Francisco I am now able to get to some painting and backed up drawings/tattoos. I finally got a chance to finish one of my paintings its 8"X10" and it can be yours for $100. I will no longer be making prints of ANY of my paintings, I have realized that it devalues the painting in money and spirit, so no prints of this will be made BUT you CAN get it tattooed!

Lucas was awesome enough to let me build him a Dan Higgs tattoo. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE tattooing Mr. Higgs work! This is out of the Doomsday Bluebonnet book.

I outlined Paula's little chihuahua on her arm in full virgin mary uniform, but somehow I doubt her little prince is a saint! I also was able to finally get Gooch's coverup finished and was WAY stoked on the final product, betcha dont know what was under there. And lastly, one of my veteran clients, Ben brought his friend Carly in for her first tattoo, a dagger through a rose for a first tattoo? UHHH....pretty fucking awesome if you ask me!

An actual day off on Labor Day

Actually taking the day off on Labor Day, thats a first in forver. So on my day off Ill take the time to show you guys some stuff ive been working on and the new shirt design I should have as soon as they get back from the printers.

Heres Ashley's gothic girl round 1 and Ryans back i got some more work in on.

Next up is Brian's rat, which is almost in his armpit which might make it actually smell like a rat and a HUGE boobed wonder woman on Nick I finally added color too

Lastly, this is what my new shirts will look like. The back has a nice inverted cross in respects to the Native Americans that were forced into christianity by the white man. Theyll be available soon. word

Welllllllllll Ive moved back to Austin......once again! I'm tattooing back at the amazing Sideshow Tattoo in Hyde park off of Airport Blvd. Currently Im working by appointment only and booked 2 months in advance, so please contact me to make an appointment. Exciting new things are in the works!

Here's a couple of things I've been working on to keep your eyes happy.....

First is Ryan's SICK back piece. This is the first session, we got the basic outlining done and Ryan sat like a champ! Also a little sneak peek at some black and grey scary biomechanical madness and The grey shading on Mr. Gooch's cover up. One more session of color and were done!

And lastly a new painting thats fo saaaaaaaale!
